Not That Great to Begin With, Don't Hold up to Washing October 2, 2009 Lee Bostwick (New Cumberland, PA United States) These are awful. They appear to be basic cheap felt, and they operate accordingly. The do soak up some liquid, but not nearly as much as advertised. It makes little to no difference whether you start them wet or dry. When you try to wash them, they crumble and shrink. You don't even want to touch them anymore. I was so diappointed with these. I recommend buying Zwipes Microfiber 36-Pack of Cleaning Cloths instead. They may not soak up a fish tank full of water, but at least you can use them over and over again instead of once or twice. Then you can really cut back on your paper towels.
Waste of money July 16, 2009 J. Kitagawa (San Jose, CA USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
These things DO NOT work at all. They just push water around. I also tried it on my car, all it did was leave orange fuzz in smeared water. Don't waste your money. You'll be better off buying $15 worth of paper towels.
I can't live without it July 8, 2009 P. andersen (tokyo, japan) 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is easily the greatest product of any kind i have ever purchased or even thought about purchasing. I can't live without this product. I use it every day all the time. I keep it in my pocket at all times because I always find a use for it. If I spill my orange soda while watching pitchmen, then its the original ZORBEEZ to the rescue! I have tried the shamwow. It is crap. The zorbeez holds at least twice the amount of liquid the shamwow does, the zorbeez is durable and doesn't drip. The Zorbeez is superior in every way, even its infomercials are better. Billy Mays was a god (RIP buddy), and Vince is a disgrace to the entire infomercial industry. In conclusion, Zorbeez is amazing and has an unimaginable amount of uses. Anyone who prefers the shamwow is on crack. I rest my case.
The money I paid would absorb better! January 4, 2009 VW (Oregon) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
These only absorb if they are soaking in water... They won't wipe up a spill even if wet themselves. I've washed them, and then they became nearly as good as a kitchen towel, and it keeps me from using a kitchen towel to wipe up liquids that stain. Of course, shop towels do the exact same thing, only much less expensively. So, I won't try Sham Wows either, becouse I believe it's all hype.
ZorBeez a Dud December 22, 2008 Daniel A. Carey Jr. (RI USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Just plain junk. Don't waste your money. Use an old bath towel and get better results.
